We advise government agencies, utilities and boards on internally generated revenue: establishing the true revenue base by identifying who is liable and what they are liable for; reviewing the billing, assessment and receipting process end to end; finding the leakages between assessment, collection and lodgement; designing the controls and records that close them; and setting realistic collection targets with reporting that shows whether they are being met.
The firm acted as consultants to the Plateau State Water Board on revenue generation and collection across the Bukuru metropolis, in partnership with Bama-Clan Nigeria Limited — an engagement covering consumer enumeration, billing and the collection process itself.
